Cine Asia & London’s PimpShuei To Host OPERATION RED SEA Screening Party This Tuesday
Cine Asia and London’s PimpShuei are hosting a screening event and party on Tuesday, October 16 at 7:00pm for Dante Lam’s latest hit, Operation Red Sea. The event arrives two weeks prior to Cine Asia’s slated Blu-ray, DVD & Digital Download release on October 29. Loosely based on the 2015 uprising in Yemen, Operation Red Sea centers on the Chinese Navy’s eight-member Jiaolong Assault Unit, trapped behind enemy lines when a rescue mission bookends into foiling an even deadlier terroristic threat. Writer/director and self-described Agatha Christie “nut” Rian Johnson and producing partner Ram Bergman are currently readying a company of their own to help finance their next film, Knives Out, ahead of Toronto International Film Festival this week. Deadline reported exclusively on Tuesday that actor Daniel Craig is set to have accepted the lead role in the new project which Johnson had previously staked in for Craig, a move that sets up a potential A-list roster in upcoming casting news.
