I’m hesitant to mention anything more, but I have a truly viable and strong feeling fans are in for a real treat come May 17. Prolific internet star, actor and filmmaker Eric Jacobus signaled the date upon sharing the new poster for Blindsided: The Game, succeeding the launchpad of Jacobus/Barber Productions that was last year’s shortfilm release, Blindsided. Industry stuntman and coordinator  Clayton Barber, collaborates as director and writer once again with Jacobus following up as Walter Cooke, a blind apple pie connoisseur who clashes with a loan shark and his goons after saving the life of an indebted store clerk. SPECIAL MISSION: Louis Fan Breaks Out The Big Guns In The Latest Trailer

As much as I’ve grown to appreciate Louis Fan over the years, I’ll stand by any director who chooses to put him front and center on a film project. This week, that nod goes to Yin Chenyang whose latest venture, Special Mission, sticks him right on the front lines in leading man fashion with a number of fresh faces Xu Jiawen, Yang Ming, Si Ligeng and Guo Zhen. While there’s no plot info I can instantly delve into here, at the very least there’s a trailer for all of us to take a gander at. GINTAMA 2 Signals The Fans With A Teaser Announcement!

And just like that, we have a teaser for Fukuda Yuichi’s upcoming Gintama 2 ahead of its August 17 release. Your guess is as good as mine on what’s to come following last year’s Benizakura treatment and though it looks more of an announcement sans any new footage there might be, it helps to see something. Even the logo looks pretty dang spiffy. As for the players: Oguri Shun, Masaki Suda and Hashimoto Kanna all reprise their roles based on the hit manga from Sorachi Hideaki with Sato Jiro, and even the enigmatic “Elizabeth” also returning to star.

MILE 22 Teases Mark Wahlberg As The Final Option On The First Official Poster

I’ve been waiting with baited breath for something to surface for Mile 22 and we finally have our first glimpse of the action with an official poster. Fandango bared the key art via social media hailing the return of Mark Wahlberg to the big screen on August 3 with a cast that includes Ronda Rousey and international action star Iko Uwais. The film was written by Graham Roland and Lea Carpenter and tells the story of an elite American intelligence officer who, when aided by a top-secret tactical command unit, tries to smuggle a mysterious police officer with sensitive information out of a foreign country. Now that we’ve seen the trailer per last week’s kickoff for Drew Pearce’s directorial debut, we’re now getting a look at some snazzy artwork for Hotel Artemis which opens on June 8. Central to the narrative is actress Jodie Foster as the head nurse whose hidden hospital within a criminals-only hotel and its residents are upended by the arrival of a wounded crimeboss and the admittance of a deadly killer with nefarious intentions. York Alec Shackleton’s attentiveness to real world events is now subject to audience fan fervor with Nicholas Cage thriller, 211 – such is what is hinted at in the synopsis included in Monday’s info. I’m inclined to wonder if Netflix’s plans for an animated serial spin-off to Universal Pictures’s hit Fast & Furious franchise will have the same trippy video game-esque visage as the opening and closing credits for the films. Apart from that, a press announcement on Monday is also revealing a photo that could lend a closer idea in that department which you can see above; I actually thought a live-action drama might have been the way to go for all of Vin Diesel’s moves to TV in recent memory, but I guess not. Alas, the streaming service is teaming up with DreamWorks Animation Television in this, the first series in an expansion of their ongoing multi-year deal for original animated kids and family programming. BHAVESH JOSHI: SUPERHERO: Don’t Miss The Supercharged Teaser Trailer For The Hindi Vigilante Thriller

Vikramaditya Motwane’s producer’s hat is pretty sizable in his 10 years+ career. He’s also directed three films and now his fourth and latest feature welcomes another addition to the masked vigilante genre in Bhavesh Joshi: Superhero. Eros is opening the new Hindi language thriller on May 25 with actor Harshvardhan Kapoor in the title role. The film’s arrival reportedly follows a four year period that saw a revolving door of actors as the project was shelved repeatedly prior to a production that eventually wrapped last summer. There isn’t much to go by in terms of the plot, although there’s quite a bit to draw from what we get to see in terms of our protagonist, his fighting style, stunt work and the villanous presence our hero will eventually clash with.
