Actor Ethan Hawke (Boyhood, Before Trilogy) is joining Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings films) and previously announced Brazilian actress and environmental activist Zaya Guarani (Postcards From Earth) for Claudio Borrelli’s new film, The Last Of The Tribe. Borrelli will direct from a screenplay by 3x Emmy nominee Mark Bailey (Downfall, The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari), per announcements on Friday from Dave Bishop, CEO of Protagonist Pictures which is launching sales at EFM this month in Berlin. Borrelli’s The Last of the Tribe takes its inspiration from the literary work of the same name by award-winning investigative journalist Monte Reel.
