The episode starts with two of Greer’s men stopped by Secret service agents Mosley and Donaldson. Mosley asks the men to relinquish the contents on their wagon but the men engage in a firefight with Mosley surviving, finding the hideout along with the counterfeit bills. Mosley asks the surviving Greer’s men, who tells about Chao’s involvement. This leads Mosley into working out of the San Francisco’s police department, much to Atwood’s protest. Mosley knows about the Chinatown squad, looking for one officer to help… Lee. As Atwood cleans up the streets, Buckley’s campaign is suffering. Mayor elect Thayer is succeeding with the public, giving Buckley anxiety until he meets Catherine Archer. Showing her support and pointing him in the right direction to keep true in his campaign. The theme was Unsettled Scores, and while I never got around to finishing this mini column, the official series trailer is now here and clearly our mains have some axes to grind since season two. Hit Series KUNG FU Ends At The CW

Christina M. Kim’s CW network upgrade of classic TV series Kung Fu wasn’t exactly targeted to viewers like me, per se. Nonetheless, it was only recently that I binged all three seasons with my mother on HBO Max and found myself enjoying it more than I expected, and even reveling for a little bit in the hopes of a continuation. Alas, when the news broke on Thursday of the show’s cancellation as part of a cost-cutting measure for shows to be filmed in the UK and Canada – per the network’s new business model, I was disappointed to say the least. In the wake of the race riots that upended Chinatown in season two, Mai Ling uses her government connections to consolidate power, while Ah Sahm and the Hop Wei must find new ways to survive. I actually started a little recap series about Warrior a month or so ago and wanted to continue but I ultimately got a bit overloaded with tasks and other work. The good news is that Season 3 now has a teaser ahead of two episode premiere on June 29, ripe with footage hinting at a third-round bout between Andrew Koji and Joe Taslim, as well as some returning and new faces in the mix, Olivia Cheng, Dean Jagger, Hoon Lee and Mark Dacascos to name a few. A quick run through the last few days of online blurbage may find you stumbling upon word of a new live-action drama in the works from production outfit YouHug Media, and acclaimed auteur, Zhang Yimou. The project in question is reportedly a take on the popular multiplayer online game “League Of Legends”, which hails from Riot Games and has been around since 2009. CAT’S EYES Lands TF1 Live-Action Series Drama For Autumn Shoot

Alexandre Laurent (“Les Combattantes”, “Le Bazar de la Charité”), is set to adapt Tsukasa Hojo’s “Cat’s Eye” as a live-action series for French network TF1, with co-financing discussions still ongoing. The octet-set series is being written by Michel Catz, Justine Kim-Gautier, Antonin Martin-Hilbert, Anne- Charlotte Kassab, Coline Dussaud and Audrey Gagneux, with Big Band Story (Benjamin Dupont-Jubien and Mehdi Sabbar) producing for the network. Author A.J. Quinnell’s “Man On Fire” novels are now subject to television drama development for Netflix. New Regency Productions, Chernin Entertainment, and writer/exec producer Kyle Killen are crafting a new live-action octet-set series based on the literary works previously published in 1980. As the series description notes: “Based on A.J. Quinnell’s book series, Man on Fire tells the story of John Creasy, a broken ex-mercenary on a mission to avenge the death of his only friend, while protecting his fallen comrade’s daughter from the forces that destroyed her family.” Scott Glenn starred in the 1987 treatment from filmmaker Élie Chouraqui. 2004’s iteration would later star Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning from helmer Tony Scott who initially attempted to adapt a film version three years after the book’s publication. VOLCANO: Upgrade Partners With Iceland And Croatia For New Eco-Political Drama Thriller Series

LA-based Upgrade Productions is revving up the new original eco-political drama-thriller series, Volcano. Nebojsa Taraba and Miodrag Sila (HBO’s “Success,” Netflix’s “The Paper”) created the series based on an original idea and are shepherding for Croatia’s Drugi Plan, alongside Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (“True Detective”) and Hörður Rúnarsson (“Black Sands”) for Iceland’s newly launched ACT 4, and with Upgrade exec producing. Volcano chronicles the tensions that arise between vastly different societies forced to live together and co-exist in the aftermath of a crushing volcanic eruption that devastates Iceland, ensuing a UN directive to relocate the surviving residents to Croatia.
