Directing duo Wong Jing and Jason Kwan are reportedly in post-production with Chasing The Dragon 2: Master Of Ransom. Following the first film in its remade biopictoral featuring of actor Donnie Yen in the role of notorious mobster, Ng Sek-Ho, the new film will take place in the 1990s with Louis Koo portraying an undercover agent who infiltrates a gang of kidnappers, with Tony Leung Ka-Fai as their ringleader.
Mega-Vision Project Workshop is on hand selling the ripped-from-the-headlines thriller to buyers this week next to Yen’s latest spiritual Hong Kong classic revival, Enter The Fat Dragon from director Kenji Tanigaki. Chasing The Dragon 2 adds to Koo’s plethora of upcoming titles, including Kung Fu Monster this December, as well as The White Storm 2: Drug Lords, Roy Chow’s Dynasty Warriors adaptation, and Ng Yuen-Fai’s Warriors Of Future.
