CHUN-LI VS EVERYBODY Pits Maria Tran Against Everyone, Literally In New Action Comedy Short
Maltese-Australian filmmaker Matthew C. Vella (The Undesirables, upcoming Nannu) got together with a bunch of blokes one weekend back in 2023 to create something fun with friends, including actress Maria Tran (“Last King Of The Cross,” Echo 8 Trilogy). Three years and many, many priorities later, Vella has arrived in timely fashion ahead of the new Street Fighter movie with the release of Chun-Li vs. Everybody, which is now available to watch on YouTube.
That means an independently-produced, non-commercial crossover epic full of cosplay action and laughs with such characters as Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, and respective Marvel and DC figureheads Spider-Man and Batman. Even Darth Vader chimes in, with actor Ian Thompson donning the original 1983 costume from Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi and VFX artist Jake Dobbie lending up to fifty visual effects shots to spruce things up.
Check it out below, and for good measure, be sure not to miss the ending.
