Marvel’s DAREDEVIL To Unleash Hell October 19
There’s no question that Netflix has been the purveyor of many a game-changing television experience, particularly regarding Marvel series, Daredevil. This show is one of the streaming site’s most crowning achievements having taken the concept from comics to cinema in a fitting format that hasn’t always been easy to package, but always delivers the crux of the spectacle in spades, which is the fights.
Undoubtedly, this will be a major centerpiece for fans looking toward its panel presentation when Netflix takes to the crowd at New York City Comic Con on Saturday, October 6. Until then, I actually hasn’t expected there to be a release date announcement so soon and it just so happens that Netflix is defying expectations as of Thursday, signaling an October 19 premiere of the show’s third season.
The latest teaser already invites something pretty foreboding when it comes to the show’s protagonist. Having been a tortured soul most of his life and with an avenue through which he can fulfill his need to dispense justice without killing anyone, what we now see is a stark change in tone with our hero turning strongly anti-heroic in his affirmations; the glimpses of our hero in his original black urban garb lend even more daunting intrigue into the brooding world that awaits fans going forward.
Beyond that, there’s not much to go on in terms of plot info, save for what fans can gather from the past two seasons in conjunction with actor Charlie Cox’s reprisal in the one-season ensemble outing, The Defenders. That said, I think the streaming service is waiting out the next several weeks in which case we might see an official trailer with all the goody bits to make it easier comprehending what lies next.
In the meantime, there’s always Iron Fist: Season Two and if you haven’t caught up yet, I humbly advise you to stop putting it off. It’ll be quite the appetizer going into next month!
Marvel’s third season of DAREDEVIL stars Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio and many more!
