Eric Tsang Flies Back Onto The Big Screen In SEVEN ASSASSINS
A new trailer has emerged for the upcoming wuxia ensemble action adventure, Seven Assassins, forwarded this week from Filmsmash by Martial Arts Movie Junkie.
Starring veteran perfomers and action filmmakers Xin Xin Xiong (Coweb) and Eric Tsang (Ip Man: The Final Fight), both whom directed and also served as co-producers along with Daniel Yun. The film also stars Felix Wong, Ray Lui, Eric Tsang, Tao Guo and Waise Lee.
The cast and crew recently promoted the film at a press conference in Beijing a few days ago. (Click HERE to view photos of the event).The film is slated for a China release on June 9, 2013.
When social unrest plagues a Kingdom in ancient China, the Imperial Court collects stockpiles of gold from local governments to expand the royal army. However, the gold is robbed while in transport.
In a desperate move to retrieve the stolen treasure, elite royal guards are sent on a mission to go after the gold but soon find out they are not the only ones in pursuit of it.
