HOT BLOOD: Don’t Miss The First Teaser For The Latest Korean Martial Arts Thriller From ‘Special Agent’ Director
Stuntman-turned-director Shin Jae-myung (Special Agent) is back with another banger this year for Hot Blood, and HanCinema’s got us a teaser which you can view above.
The setup? Lee Jung-hyun-I (Shark: The Beginning), Choi Je-heon (Revenger, Fist & Furious) and Jung Sung-ho-I (The Divine Fury, Special Agent) star in the film which centers on three national taekwondo hopefuls forced to surrender to reality in lieu of a neighborhood development project, and a huge incident that changes their lives.
That’s really all there is to it right now for the wind-up and the pitch along with the teaser, although we have a poster to boot as well. That said, that teaser gave me some real Cha Ryong vibes (courtesy of a film yet to see the light of day as far as I know). Flying kicks tuned to the backdrop of gritty street brawls and a ringside beat ’em up angle culminating a Korean thriller? Yep, I’m here for it.
