IP MAN 4: THE FINALE Opens In More Cities In The U.S. And Canada This Friday
It’s well past the stroke of midnight as we enter 2020. So continues the fervor behind actor Donnie Yen who rung out last year with his cinematic kung fu genre diptych, Ip Man 4: The Finale, and the swarm of reviews pouring online to its massive benefit as Well Go USA maintains its international rollout in select theaters.
Yen punches his way into the 1960s as Ip Man, the legendary Wing Chun grandmaster whose private battle with cancer signals his latest struggle to sustain his beleagured youngest son’s future in America. Ip Man will soon be forced to employ his fists one last time when his efforts fall short of diplomacy, between an embittered Chinese American community leader disproving of Ip’s prominent pupil, Bruce Lee, and a racist U.S. Marine Sergeant bent on weaponizing his Karate training to terrorize the Chinese.
FCSyndicate was fortunate to include two reviews of the film which you can read here and here. There are others online which have generated a healthy mix of albeit favorable perspectives. Just don’t be an A-hole and steal the film, because the only way these sorts of films can be made consistently is if they make some money along the way, and that’s where you come in.
Besides, there’s always our very own biweekly column, The Hit List, which I wholly recommend checking out. Otherwise, Well Go USA just rolled out more locations for this Friday as Ip Man 4: The Finale stays the course. Peep the ink below, and click here for previous openings!
