CZ12 Gets A North American Release! Watch The New Trailer!

It took a bit of time, but we now have a trailer for AMC Amazing’s upcoming North American theatrical release of CZ12. Shortened by about 20 minutes, film is latest directorial project earning international action legend, co-writer/producer and director Jackie Chan two Guiness World Records, including “Most Stunts Performed By A Living Actor”, and “Most Credits In One Movie”. The film is also one of Chan‘s final performances in an action role before promoting his currently completed Police Story 2013 and moving onto non-action roles such as his next film, Skiptrace.

Made as a pseudo-reboot to his previous Hong Kong classics, Armor Of God (1987) and Armor Of God 2: Operation Condor (1991), CZ12 was filmed early last year and saw its release in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines between December 2012 and January this year, ultimately becoming a huge box office success and earning the film an award for Best Action Choreography at the 32nd Annual Hong Kong Film Awards.

CZ12 also stars Kwan Sang-Woo, Liao Fan, Zhang Lanxin, Yao Xingtong, Laura Weissbecker, Yoo Sung-Joo, Amedeo Rosario, Alaa Safi, Vincent Sze, Caitlin Dechelle, Chen Bo Lin, Jonathan Lee, Ken Lo and Oliver Platt, and will release in theaters October 18, 2013.


SYNOPSIS:

Asian Hawk (Jackie Chan) leads a mercenary team to recover several lost artifacts from the Old Summer Palace, the bronze heads of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals which were looted by foreigners in the 1800s. Assisted by a Chinese student and a Parisian lady, Hawk stops at nothing to accomplish the mission.
