DEADLOCKED: Amazon MGM Action Thriller Teams Jamie Foxx With ‘Kill’ Director

Kill director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat found fruition in the last few years with his action flick subject to possible sequel and remake chatter. Any progress on those efforts currently remain pending otherwise noted, while the director is now reportedly attached to helm action thriller Deadlocked, finding a lead in none other than Project Power and Back In Action star Jamie Foxx for the Amazon MGM Studios production.
Deadlocked follows a grieving former Marine serving jury duty who is forced back into action when the trial of the century turns into a deadly hostage situation as the defendant’s daughter seizes the courthouse to free her father.
Foxx is also producing via his Foxxhole label alongside Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger for Range and Dave Caplan for C2. Exec producers are AJ Bourscheid, Liz Destro, Paul Currie and Corinne Foxx.
