Jason Statham Is Back In The New Trailer For HUMMINGBIRD
Actor Jason Statham is no stranger to action movies. At 45, Statham has become a major milestone in the action genre, namely with films such as The Transporter franchise, Parker, War, The Mechanic and his role among some of the best of the best in all star action movies in The Expendables trilogy.
If that is not enough, then have no fear. Staham continues to kick off 2013 with a slightly newer appearance in his latest feature film, Hummingbird. Yahoo! UK has unveiled the new trailer for the new action thriller, which was written and directed by Steven Knight and produced by IM Global, with Lionsgate in charge of distribution. The film also stars Benedict Wong, Vicky McClure and David Bradley, and is set for release in UK cinemas this May. Stay tuned for updates!
SYNOPSIS:
After witnessing his unit ripped to shreds by artillery fire in Afghanistan, Joey Jones (Jason Statham) has been living on the streets of London, trying to forget his past and stay of out trouble. On the run from a ruthless gang, he breaks into the apartment of a wealthy man in Convent Garden and assumes his upper-class identity. Just as Joey is on his way to making amends with his friend and sponsor Sister Cristina, his pregnant girlfriend is found dead in the river. Now, Joey must use his connections in the Chinese mob to find the man responsible, stopping at nothing until justice is served.
