Johnny Harris Stars In Boxing Drama, JAWBONE, Now Underway

JAWBONE is the story of a former youth boxing champion. Jimmy McCabe is a man in search of hope butnlooking in all the wrong places. When he hits rock bottom, he turns to his childhood boxing club and the only family he has left: gym owner Bill and cornerman Eddie. Back in training, years after anyone thought he was a contender, he will risk his life to stand tall and to regain his place in the world.
Johnny Harris (This Is England, Welcome To The Punch, Snow White And The Huntsman) is writing and starring in the film along with Ray Winstone (The Departed, The Gunman) as Bill, Michael Smiley (Luther, Black Sea) in the role of Eddie and actor Ian McShane (John Wick, Ray Donovan) in an undisclosed role. 70’s and 80’s punk rocker-turned-blue-eyed soul music icon Paul Weller is scoring the film while notable father and son boxing duo, ring legend Barry McGuigan and revered trainer Shane McGuigan reportedly prepped Harris for the role.
