KALIYUGAM: India’s First Dystopian Survival Thriller Reveals A Future World On The Brink In The First Trailer
If you’re like me and you’re today years old when you found out about a movie called Kaliyugam, then feel free to pat yourself on the back! India’s first post-apocalyptic survival thriller, starring Shraddha Srinath (Witness) and Kishore Kumar G. (Ponniyin Selvan: Part I and Part II) is now inbound as of the 2021 production start of Pramodh Sundar’s feature debut, and you’re just in time for the first official trailer which you can view at the bottom of the page.
While story and plot details remain unknown as of this post, what’s illustrative here is Sundar’s approach to ancient theology, adding a futuristic twist for sci-fi appeal. Given the title and its Hindu etymology, along with a tagline in the description of the embed that reads “there’s plenty to ascertain along with the stunning imagery Sundar proffers to hopeful audiences for his ambitious debut.
