KILL BOK-SOON Trailer Teases A Mother Caught In A Killer Balancing Act!
If you enjoyed last year’s Kingmaker and 2017’s The Merciless, then you’ve got some viewing prospects at work with the official trailer now online for Byun Sung-hyun’s new crime drama, Kill Bok-soon. The pic is part of Netflix’s huge wave of content set to arrive from South Korea as the year rolls on, with Byun directing from his own script and actress Jeon Do-yeon (Emergency Declaration) starring in the title role.
Boksoon leads a double life — she is both a mother of a teenage daughter and a legendary professional killer at top-tier killing agency MK. Caught between the mission of killing someone and the mission of raising someone, Boksoon refuses to complete an assigned mission and is thrown into an inevitable fight.
Kill Bok-soon will also have its day this month at the 73rd Berlinale ahead of a March 31 premiere date on Netflix. Also starring are Sul Kyung-gu (Kingmaker), Kim Si-a (Kingdom: Ashin of the North), Esom (Samjin Company English Class), and Koo Kyo-hwan (Escape From Mogadishu).
