KILL BOK-SOON Scores A Second Trailer Full Of Action!

Folks attending this year’s Berlinale are just days away from the world premiere of Byun Sung-hyun’s killer-looking new thriller, Kill Bok-soon. The Netflix exclusive is back in the headlines as of late Wednesday with a brand new trailer that definitely cranks things up with hard-hitting violence to entice the genre fandom a bit, and with none other than Jeon Do-yeon leading the charge. Just check out the programming notes as written at the Berlinale website:

Gil Boksoon leads a double life. She is both the mother of a teenage daughter, whom she is raising on her own, and a legendary professional killer at top-tier killing agency MK Ent. One could even say that she is better at killing people than raising them. But one day, either out of motherly instinct or simply because there are limits to what even the ruthless Boksoon is willing to do, she refuses to complete an assignment. In doing so, she herself becomes a target.

In Kill Boksoon, director Byun Sung-hyun invites us into an astonishing, chilling world in which a killing agency offers an elite path to success and wealth, and talent scouting is all about spotting promising psychopaths and orphans who have nothing to lose. While Boksoon’s daughter is immersed in feelings typical of teenage turmoil, the emotional thermometers of her elders drop to sub-zero temperatures. The leading figures among these cold-blooded assassins are played by the brilliant Jeon Do-yeon and Sul Kyung-gu, in roles that are a million miles away from their cult melodramatic performances in filmmaker Lee Chang-dong’s work. Their characters’ almost preternatural fighting skills allow for some spectacular set pieces that will blow your mind – hopefully not literally.

Kill Bok-soon also stars Sol Kyung-gu, Kim Si-ah, Esom and Koo Kyo-hwan for the film’s launch beginning March 31. Watch the trailer below, and be excited!

I am looking forward to its release as I really loved the Kill Bok-soon and expect even more thrilling drama from this one.

South Koreans rarely disappoint when it comes to imaginative entertainment. In my perspective, they are currently superior to Hollywood. Jeon Doyeon is a multifaceted actor. She is OUTSTANDING, and I can't wait to see this film. Netflix successfully acquired the Berlin International entry.

Wow! Looks like it's gonna be intense. Can't wait to see the whole movie. I'm pumped about this film! Netflix picking it up? Smart move, gonna be a must-watch for me. This flick's gonna take you on a wild ride, start to finish.

Jeon Do-yeon is going to completely own this role, mark my words. Just from the trailer, I can tell that this film is going to have me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The talent in this movie is out of this world - it's going to be absolutely incredible. It's giving me some serious Kill Bill vibes for some reason, and I am so here for it. I recognized some of the other actors but I don't remember their names but I had seen them in some great Netflix dramas.

Well, darlin', I have to admit that I'm not usually one for violent movies, but this one's storyline has got me downright intrigued! And as y'all know, I'm always drawn to movies that have strong, powerful women leading the way - and this one looks downright amazing. I have a feeling this movie is going to surprise a lot of people in the best way possible. You know, I just love it when movies take risks and do something completely different - and this one seems like it's doing just that. I can't wait to see how it all plays out!

You better not fall asleep watching Korean dramas and movies! And, believe me, even if you're not a lover of subtitles, Netflix has you covered with those dubs. Korea, in my opinion, is killing it when it comes to creating strong, powerful female characters, far outperforming Hollywood. And don't even get me started on their acting abilities. So, if you haven't already, it's time to hop on the Korean entertainment train - you won't be sorry.

I gotta say, I am lovin' me some Jeon Do-Yeon lately! I just watched Crash Course Romance and. And let me tell you, that woman can act! I cannot believe how versatile she is - from dramas to now action movies? This movie will be the first time I ever saw her in action film. She's seriously impressive. I'm definitely gonna have to check out this new movie with her, Kill Boksoon. I have a feeling it's gonna be epic.

Can we just pause for a second to admire this amazing cast? This movie is filled with talent, led by Jeon Do-Yeon, along with Sul Kyung-gu, Kim Si-ah, Esom, and Koo Kyo-hwan. Seeing such accomplished actors bring a tale to life on the big screen is always a joy. I can't wait to see how they all collaborate and what they have to offer. This looks like an experience that will last.
