KNIVES OUT Adds Chris Evans Amid ‘Captain America’ Exit
The news came later on Thursday after Evans officially announced his departure from the MCU as one of Marvel Studios’ core cast members since taking the mantle for Joe Johnston’s 2011 Captain America installment. Evans has followed through with the role for three Captain America films as well as thusfar on three Avengers titles; Evans’ final bow as America’s first Avenger will be in the fourth Avengers film on May 3, 2019.
Knives Out is being penned by Johnson who produces with partner Ram Bergman. Craig joined the film ahead of Toronto International Film Festival which gives him a well-timed project before finally stepping into the arena once more as James Bond with Cary Fukunaga (Maniac) set to direct in March forthwith for its February 2020 rollout.
