KTV: KILLING TIME VIOLENTLY Gets Teaser Art For The Latest From ‘Jailbreak’ Director
Director Jimmy Henderson chose some time to kill on Wednesday to share the first official poster art for KTV: Killing Time Violently. The new movie reteams him with much of his Jailbreak and Hanuman crew, including actor and martial artist Dara Our who stars in the film from a script penned by Henderson and co-writer Kai Miller
As reported late last year, KTV: Killing Time Violently stars Our in the role of Mak, an estranged father who must use his skills as a reformed bar-brawler to find a way out and make it home in time for his son’s birthday when he gets caught up in a gang raid at a local club on his first day on the job.
Rounding out the cast are Japan-based Cambodian model Hinano Kurosaki, along with comedian duo Pek Mi and Neay Krouch, and legendary Cambodian rapper, DJ Sdey. Henderson is also producing the pic with Chy Sila, Kenneth Ung, and Si Mao executive producing.
Henderson broke ground in 2017 with Jean-Paul Ly starrer, Jailbreak, scoring two wins and one nomination at Fantasia Festival in Montreal, and sequel prospects currently in toe. Nowadays the director is in the midst of circulating the festivals with the upcoming second of two screenings for 2020 flick, The Guardian, at the 12th Cambodian International Film Festival.
As for KTV: Killing Time Violently, locals in Cambodia can expect to be thrilled once more when the film releases on June 30. Peep the artwork below and stick around for some trailer footage coming forthwith.
