When Mike Fury isn’t on set performing stunts or prepping his next fight sequence, off set, he’s an action film fan like any other of his ilk, and with a keen sense of the craft and how to engage it.
Having taken it a step further with the premiere launch of Life Of Action in 2015, Fury has since followed up with Life Of Action II, continuing his extenuating journey of acquainting with some of today’s highly-regarded in the stunt world.
“Much like the first volume, this book is a real labour of love and I know there are hugely passionate film fans who admire these artists and their work just as much as me,” says Fury. “Having worked in the film industry for many years now, in a variety of roles, I’ve witnessed and come to understand the incredible hard work, creativity and often great personal risk that goes into entertaining an audience. Many of these stories are funny, sad, moving and inspiring, and hopefully give an insight into this crazy and unusual business.”
Life Of Action II hails from Fury’s Bench Press imprint, and is available in UK bookstores and online, including limited edition hardcovers and softcovers, and kindle formats, and contains exclusive images within each interview.
