LOC PHAT Goes Off-Road In The New Action Packed Trailer

I’m pretty happy to see Vietnamese action fanfare still afloat what with any number of titles that could be arriving this year. For this, we turn to director Lê Bảo Trung for his own welcome into the New Year with Lộc Phát, brimming with its own hybrid of action and silly comedy and some exciting stunt sequences of its own.

Locals in Vietnam can expect this one to arrive in February, and there isn’t much to go on for any available info in English about this movie. That said, judging by the trailer and a few minor translations, the plot appears to involve a reluctant assassin, a suicidal businessman; a young woman caught in an organ trafficking scheme and an old beggar…and who and whatever else contributes to this tale leaving plenty of room for a good share of car and motorcycle chases, and fights within inches of a car stuck doing donuts.
