LONE WOLF: A Vengeful Stuntman Makes The Jump Of His Life In The Official Trailer
JK Rock and Shadow Kids helmer Shunji Muguruma is currently on the move as of late last year with the release of his newest action drama, Lone Wolf (regionally titled The Last Stuntman). I’ve only come across this one late Thursday afternoon as I found myself in another rabbit hole and very little info about this project available in English, which of course compelled me to do lots of Googling, Google Translating, and more Googling, etc.
The film is led by Shota Minami of Ultra Galaxy Legend and Ultraman Zero Gaiden fame, and stunt professional Masashi Takahashi who produces next to Muguruma. For this, it’s Minami who takes the lead as a motocross cyclist who finds himself journeying into the stunt industry to get even with the stuntman who caused his father’s accidental death, only to find himself enveloped in another conflict. The film opened in Japan last December from Musashino Entertainment and is currently touring at various event screenings with Muguruma in attendance.
Check out the trailer below, and take a gander at some of the behind-the-scenes visuals at the making of the film in seven featurettes available on the channel as well.
