MAD HEIDI Rages On Digital, VOD, And Standard And Limited Edition Extra Cheese Blu This July
Raven Banner Releasing and Swissploitation Films are rolling the cheese wheels out for the July 21 Blu-Ray, Digital and Cable VOD release of Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein’s Swissploitation Grindhouse romp, Mad Heidi. The VOD platforms include Prime Video, Amazon, Vudu, Bell and more, while the Blu-Ray is expected to arrive with a Standard and Limited Edition Extra Cheese Edition.
Mad Heidi is the result of close to five years of work as the directors galvanized support from fans and crowdsourced funds for the new flick. Casting Alice Lucy opposite Casper Van Dien, the film centers on a young woman’s quest for revenge against Switzerland’s dictatorship and monopoly over cheese when his enforcers publicly – and brutally – execute her lover for trafficking alternative dairy products. The film also stars David Schofield, Almar Sato, Kel Matsena and Max Rüdlinger.
