MAIKA: THE GIRL FROM ANOTHER GALAXY Lands In North America In June From Well Go USA
After making a tremendous splash on the festival circuit, writer and director Ham Tran’s new kids’ sci-fi adventure, Maika: The Girl From Another Galaxy. Well Go USA is rolling out the red carpet once more in reunion with Tran since the company’s prior handling of Tran’s 2017 film, Bitcoin Heist.
After losing his mother to illness and his best friend to an unexpected move, a young boy discovers a crashed spaceship and makes a new friend with awesome powers (although she does need a little help with her earthly social skills). Together, they embark on a zany, fun-filled adventure while taking on the bad guys and helping Maika find her way home.
Maika: The Girl From Another Galaxy has a brand new trailer from Well Go USA which you can view atop this page. The film features young actress Diep Anh Chu in the title role, and also stars Phu Truong Lai, Tin Tin, Ngoc Tuong and Kim Nha, and will release in North American theaters beginning June 3.
