Marko Zaror Kicks Into Action In The New Trailer For REDEEMER!
Well, the wait is over and the official trailer is out for director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza‘s brand new martial arts actioner and film festival favorite, Redeemer. It’s the next major step in the genre for fans who have followed Zaror‘s stellar career since breaking ground in 2006 with Kiltro and following through ever since, each showcasing Zaror‘s screenfighting prowess in electrifying fashion, and with a synopsis such as what reads after the jump, it’s a perfect setup to achieve the same. It really is. I should know. I happily reviewed it!
Marko Zaror is Pardo, a man with a heavy burden on his soul, looking for a way to atone for his past sins. As a vigilante, he stops criminals in their tracks and gives them only one chance to ask for forgiveness. Bad guys being bad guys, they rarely listen, and so Pardo disposes of them in any gruesome way available to him at the moment. He’s just as likely to impale a man’s face with a giant hook as he is to beat someone bloody with good old-fashioned punches and flip-kicks. When he crosses paths with Bradock (Noah Segan), Pardo suddenly has an entire criminal organization to contend with and finds himself caring for a woman for the first time since the tragedy that sent him on his current course.
The film is reportedly heading to North America by way of Dark Sky Films with a summer 2015 release date currently pending, and if this is your first time hearing about this awesome new film, then you’re in for a real treat. Watch the trailer right now, and by all means, stay excited!
