New Featurette For G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Unleashes Storm Shadow’s Rage!
Paramount Pictures recently unveiled a new featurette for the upcoming film G.I. Joe: Retaliation. The featurette illustrates the bitter rivalry between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, respectively played by Ray Park and Byung-hun Lee, with Lee, delving into newer dynamics of his character for the sequel to the 2009 movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, from personality, to training in weapons for fight sequences opposite Park on screen.
The film, which is slated for a 2D/3D premiere starting March 29, 2013, also stars stars D.J. Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, Elodie Yung, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Walton Goggins, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, Arnold Vosloo and voice of John DiMaggio. The film was produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner and written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and directed by Jon M. Chu, with action coordinator Jung Doo-hong along with fight coordinator Thomas DuPont, and stunt coordinators Paul Borne, Keith Campbell and Steven Ritzi.
SYNOPSIS:
After the G.I. Joes are framed as traitors by Zartan, who is still impersonating the President of the United States, the Cobra Commander now has all the world leaders under COBRA’s control, with their advanced warheads aimed at innocent populaces around the world. Outnumbered and out gunned, the Joes form a plan with the original G.I. Joe General Joseph Colton to overthrow the Cobra Commander and his allies Zartan, Storm Shadow and Firefly.
