New FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA Trailer Throws Anya Taylor-Joy Into A World Of Fire Of Fury
Arriving just in time for Memorial Day weekend two months from now is Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga from director George Miller. Anya Taylor-Joy takes the mantle for the prequelized chapter that signals the box office success that would become Mad Max: Fury Road, now with an origin twist that peers into how our heroine’s harrowing epic journey in the desert begins.
As you’d imagine, it’s as bonkers and wild as you might imagine as the newest trailer hints. Chris Hemsworth plays the menacing head of a horde of Bikers who kidnap the young girl who would become the titular protagonist she is now, ripped from “the Green Place” and chucked into a world of sand, slaughter and upheaval with none other than the nefarious cult leader Immortan Joe, reprised once again by Hugh Keays-Byrne.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga opens on May 24. Catch the wild and wicked new trailer now, and mind that closing line at the end. How keen!
