PLAYER AGENCY Gets A Poster For A Very Different Kind Of Film
Filmmaker Joey Min and the rest of the Art School Dropouts – the clan that brought you a decade of suitable indie kung fu fanservice and inventive stories – is upping the ante a bit this summer with Player Agency. Developed in association with their Discord and Rec Room communities, the film marks a first for Min with a feature film fully completed in virtual reality, and it’s got a trailer to help lend an eye to what that entails in case you missed it.
Min joins Kage Yami who stars in the film as a jobless, depressed recluse whose friend invites him to a virtual gaming medium as a means of self-help. The incumbent adventure finds our hero on a quest with a small band of warriors to beat the tyrannical Lich King and save the realm.
The film will first premiere in June for the ASDO Discord group as a webseries before going public on YouTube and making its complete movie debut in July. Check out the poster below!
