POWER RANGERS: ONCE & ALWAYS: ‘It’s Morphin’ Time’ Once Again In The Trailer For The New Netflix Special!
Netflix and Hasbro’s eOne are ready to thrust viewers back into the morphin’ grid with Power Rangers: Once & Always, a new special arriving just in time for the hit show’s 30th anniversary. David Yost and Walter Emanuel Jones are front and center once more along with Steve Cardenas and Catherine Sutherland, in addition to returning vets Karan Ashley and Johnny Yong Bosch.
In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, thirty years after the wise and powerful Zordon formed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the team comes face to face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary mantra from the franchise “Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger,” Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you are always a part of the Ranger family and always welcome.
Also starring is actor Charlie Kersh along with the voice performances of Barbara Goodson otherwise returning as the voice the nefarious Rita Repulsa (or RoboRita), and Richard Horvitz to VO the Rangers’ robotic cohort, Alpha.
The official trailer comes following a behind-the-scenes look revealed back in January, as well as official key art as of a week ago. The special also arrives at one of the most emotional moments for the Ranger fandom in history as it pays tribute to the long-departed Thuy Trang and most recently Jason David Frank.
April 19 is the launch date, so mark it accordingly, and embrace your teenage youth once more as our heroes battle a newly revived and now robotic sorceress, her army of putties, and monsters she’s more than ready to “GROWWWWWW!” (…if you know, you know.)
