Raman Hui's China Summer Hit, MONSTER HUNT, Gets A U.S. Trailer And Release Date!
Following the film’s acquisition in September, FilmRise is officially releasing director Raman Hui‘s new movie, Monster Hunt in the U.S. on January 22 in 2D and 3D theaters. The film has brought tremendous prospects by way of Hui who cut his teeth working on several CG-amimated titles for Hollywood, namely the Shrek franchise – something that ultimately favored the film upon its China release in July when it beat out Furious Seven.
To say the least, this one is a keeper. Adorable and destructive creatures and all.
SYNOPSIS:
In a mythical, ancient world, monsters rule the land while humans keep to their own kingdom. But when adorable baby monster Wuba is born, mortals and creatures alike set out to capture the newborn, and Wuba’s epic adventure begins.
Bai Baihe, Jing Boran, Yao Chen, and Eric Tsang are among the line-up. Watch the official U.S. trailer below!
