RINGSIDE STORY: Love On The Rocks And On The Ropes In The Latest Trailer
Returning to the boxing element that earned him the good graces of festivals and moviegoers with 100 Yen Love, director Take Masaharu is back at it again with more pound-for-pound drama in Ringside Story. Take reunites with Eden and In The Hero producer Bong Ou-Lee who wrote the film with Yokomaku Tomohiro with actor Eita and actress Sato Eriko for the film’s world premiere festival spotlight at Busan next month.
When Kanako takes a job with wrestling association WRESTLE-1 and its handsome boss Keiji, her failed actor boyfriend of ten years, Hideo, is overcome with jealousy and causes and incident that can only be settled by a match with WRESTLE-1’s champ.
