Actor, filmmaker and Hong Kong cinema legend Robert Samuels (Yes, Auntie: My Asian Auntie S2, Red Wolf, No Problem) has a big weekend ahead of him as he ramps up his most recent pet project of the last several years with Red Sash Theater, a digital library of independent shortfilms aimed toward fans of Asian films, action and martial arts.
That collection will undoubtedly include his newest seven minute kung fu short, Shadow Fist, created with R4 Films partner Robert Jefferson, and starring Samuels along with Andre Duza and Sharif Bey. The short will premiere this weekend alongside Samuel’s UASE (Urban Action Showcase & Expo) 2020 Virtual Experiences panel events on Saturday for Black Heroes Matter at 5:00pm EST, and Black Heroes of Martial Arts Cinema on Sunday, also at 5:00pm EST.
