SPADES: Exclusive Clip From Johnny Yong Bosch’s Directorial Debut Ahead Of Online Premiere
If you’re like me and already seen Spades, chances are you’re equally excited as the film makes its online premiere for free on August 8 at 1pm ET (10am PT) over at the Indie Rights Movie YouTube channel. The independently-produced action thriller was released a few months ago on Amazon Prime, starring actor and martial artist Johnny Yong Bosch who makes his directorial debut, with a cast also led by actor Jason Narvy.
Detective James Bishop believes he’s chasing a ruthless vigilante who leaves spade cards on the bodies of the guilty. But when his daughter goes missing, the case twists into a nightmare that pulls him into a trafficking ring—and toward the secrets that bind him to the killer. To bring her home, Bishop must descend into the darkness he’s spent years avoiding.
Also starring are Maya Brattkus and Nobuaki Shimamoto. The cast also features actress Cassidy Espinola who can be seen below as a woman accosted by two seedy bad guys who are about to get paid a rather unfortunate visit.
