Space travel has its own sense of wonder: exploring the unknown, going where no man (person) has ever gone before, and finding out if we’re really alone in the universe. It’s all fun and games and excitement — until it isn’t.
Russian director Egor Abramenko’s first feature film Sputnik takes viewers to space and back and promises to be full of chills from fear, not excitement. According to Screenanarchy, the
…story revolves around a young doctor called in by the military to evaluate a cosmonaut returned from a mission under unusual circumstances … and let’s just say he didn’t exactly return alone.
There are no subtitles in the trailer, but you can tell what is going on based on the visuals and the facial expressions. The threat and fear are clearly conveyed. Check it out here:
