STORY OF VILLAINS: Don Lee And Kim Moo-Yul Set To Catch A Killer In 2019
Production is already under way at Kiwi Media Group for director Lee Won Tae’s Story Of Villains from Kiwi Media Group. Cameras began rolling in late July for a 2019 release marking Lee’s second outing since last year’s period debut, Man Of Will, starring Cho Jin-Woong.
Champion and Train To Busan actor Don Lee will play an organized crime boss who, in a spate of patterned serial killings, has been the only survivor thusfar. To catch the culprit, he’ll pair up with Illang: The Wolf Brigade co-star Kim Moo-Yul who will portray a relentless detective who himself bares no love loss for organized crime.
Emerging as the killer is The Accidental Detective 2 actor Kim Sung-Kyu who reunites with actor Lee since 2017 action crime thriller, The Outlaws.
Story Of Villains will roll out in 2019 which is starting to look like an amply-packed year for fans of the hefty actor and action star who first came on my radar with Kundo in 2014. Lee, who recently appeared in the box office hit, Along With The Gods: The Last 49 Days, is also set to return in a sequel next year for The Outlaws in addition to starring in a feature film spin-off of OCN drama, Bad Guys.
Lee will star with actor Kim Young-Kwang in Jo Won-Hee’s The Soul-Mate on September 26.
