Director Clark Duke’s new holiday crime romp, Stranglehold, is gearing up for a digital and VOD release on October 2. The official trailer is already making the rounds as well with a cast led by Ashley Benson and Jake Lacy.
Obsessed with the glamorous influencers she follows on social media and fed up with her life of barely getting by, a small-town Arkansas stripper named Bailey (Ashley Benson) decides to rob the club she works at with the help of her ex-military husband, Tim (Jake Lacy), so they can give their infant daughter a decent Christmas and a better life.
Stranglehold also stars Justin Long, Ron Perlman, Chandler Duke, Elle King, David Arquette, Brian Posehn, and Chris Redd. Catch the trailer:
