As a result of the death and destruction the city became known as Angel Graves. The heroes were blamed, stripped of their titles and hunted. But as evil once again threatens to return they must rise from the ashes with the power of the White Dragon. The project is being billed as a darker and […]

THE HIT LIST – August 8, 2016
Well, I don’t know about you guys, but my weekend was another laid back one this summer. I haven’t been to the movies in a while and mostly due to work, but I have plenty of anime and film at home to keep me company, and that courtesy also extends to any number of the usual action shorts and stunt talents I find on the web. Thus, we now engage another installation of The Hit List, and the first of the bunch brings us the usual playlist ripe with stunt reels to enjoy beginning with Jesse Liskola who has caught my attention in a few good projects over the past year or so, including Mikko Lopponen’s 2015 winter revenge thriller, Eliza. Welcome back to another awesome week and another equally awesome installment of the Hit List! First thing’s first however, I’ve got some good news and bad news… …The bad news is that this week is light on content. The good news is we’re kicking off a fine little fan reel highlighting some of action star Jet Li‘s work in more than three decades. Currently his hyperthyroidism is what impedes him from being more prevalent in the world of action cinema as much as fans would like while we await to see the extent of his forthcoming role in the new fantasy 3D epic, League Of Gods. Until then, Li’s made memories, all of which are worth celebrating like so in the following fan reel courtesy of Adrian Conlon. Happy belated 53, Jet! The playlist beneath includes the latest in stunt, free running and action highlights by Kelly Phelan, Vellu Saarela, […]

THE HIT LIST – July 6, 2016
This is going to be another incredible Hit List with an array of stunt reels and shorts that will impress you, a few of which may even do so to the point of fandom. Granted, this column’s existence also comes with the perk of knowing that there are a degree of important people in film who look at these pieces, and I’m grateful to help play an integral role in that regard. It’s refreshing! That said, cue the stunt reels and overall sickness of the amazing footage from Darcy Hinds, Anthony DiRocco, Niko Dalman, Aaron Jones Beck, sibling XMA purveyors Liana and Jentzen Ramirez, Tien Hoang, Eric Erickson, Jerry Quill, Cali Nelle and Alpha Stunts member and stuntman Yokoyama Kazuhiro! It’a trailer time and I’ve got two for your viewing pleasure! Following Kickstarter efforts earlier in the year, UK-based UCA student filmmaker Charlie Dennis and his team have begun the […]

Jason David Frank Dodges Bullets In The New Series Trailer For TAZ KAYDEN: OPERATION BLACK UNICORN
Sure, not a day goes by that actor, martial artist and social media superstar Jason David Frank doesn’t acknowledge the fan outpouring he still receives from his Power Ranger fame of yesteryear. To date, it’s a role he still celebrates in some capacity with recurring performances on televison, as well as online through Machinima’s reality webseries, My Morphin Life, and with any luck, the big screen by 2016. This time though, he’s going from green to civilian/tactical threads with guns blazing from all corners and bullets raining from up above in next year’s explosive action series pilot, Taz Kayden: Operation Black Unicorn. He’ll be joined by fellow former Power Ranger cast member, actor Jason Faunt, actor and underground Batman Kevin Porter and wrestling star-turned-actor John Morrison in a series that mingles a bit between The Expendables and FX series, Archer with a heavy comic book influence, which could serve as […]
