Needless to say there’s more info to divulge between now and the next two years as the film continues onward with Justice League with writer Chris Terrio on board. For now, Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice will get its day on May 6, 2016.
There are a lot of rumors that continue to swarm the internet, especially when it comes to movies. A lot of it is fan-induced static that turns out to be hype cheese, but the rest of it still leaves a lot to the imagination, and that includes previous mentions of actor Jason Momoa for a role in director Zack Snyder‘s new film, Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
For the most part, the Game Of Thrones and Conan actor has been quite vocal about denying the issue to the point of expressing his irritation, even as Warner Bros. has yet to release an official statement. However, it seems that one reason or another, HitFix is able to confirm the actor will, at the very least, get a cameo role as Aquaman in Snyder‘s new film, a move which could reflect on the events of last year’s Man Of Steel regarding the subaqueous destruction caused by the world engine at the hands of General Zod.
Folks are excited to see this could be happening, and I personally hope Warner Bros. will provide an official statement to settle the issue once and for all, particularly so that Momoa won’t be so annoyed. I can imagine its frustrating being on non-disclosure terms. I’m a news writer and like many, I’ve learned only a few things in the past year I can’t talk about publicly because it’s not within my power to do so unless otherwise confirmed. Momoa can next be seen in his directorial debut, Road To Paloma, the week of July 11 in select theaters and on home platforms starting July 15. Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice releases May 6, 2016.

It’s an era of superhero movies and a better time than any to honor their creators. As such, the name of late comic book author and co-creator Bob Kane comes to mind when one ponders just who will get a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. That recent decision came with a new announcement from Maureen Schultz, Chairwoman of the Walk of Fame selection committee for 2014-2015, according to a new report from Comicbook.com
Together with undercredited writer Bill Finger and inker Jerry Robinson, Kane helped manifest one of the most celebrated superheroes in comic book and entertainment history, all right from of their platform at Detective Comics starting in 1939. At least nine actors have brought the iconic crimefighter to life through live action film and television, animation and video games, in addition to countless others paying their own tribute to the role in numerous independently made online projects in recent years. And in light of a new Warner exhibit along with actor Ben Affleck’s current gig as the Dark Knight himself in Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Justice League, and a currently-rumored standalone Batman movie in 2016, 2017 and 2019, respectively, it would only make sense to honor Kane‘s memory in such a way at this point.
Kane was 83 when he passed away back in 1998, so this is long deserved and a great way to solidify his legacy.
