Ben Affleck Gets A Close-Up In New Comic-Con Pic For BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

Warner Bros. is currently busy promoting its next theatrical slate of films for this year’s events at San Diego Comic Con, which also include just a touch of what fan can expect with costume pieces from Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice. The film is currently in production under director Zack Snyder with lead actor Henry Cavill reprising his role from last year’s Man Of Steel and is poised for a May 6, 2016 release.

The film also joins Cavill opposite actor Ben Affleck in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, who has gotten quite the spotlight this year seeing as how the iconic DC Comics character is celebrating its 75th birthday. Moreover, as the cameras continue rolling, we have already seen a few photos of the actor and Snyder‘s rendition of the Batmobile for the new film.

On Thursday, DC Comics is adding another photo to the deck of pics teasing the film, this time with an up-close profile headshot of Affleck in the famous cowl. Check it out:

We’ve already seen several glimpses of Batman’s gear and a promo image of Cavill in the Superman costume, along with actress Gal Gadot on set while yet to be spotted in her upcoming appearance as Diana/Wonder Woman. Currently there is no telling where, when or how we will see the next big update from the film as production continues, although if you live in Detroit, or if you are at Comic-Con this year, you might be lucky.

The film is also geared toward the production of Justice League before Man Of Steel 2, for which by then we will finally see what the rest of our heroes in costume will look like. In the meantime, stay tuned as excitement continues to build.
