Well, it’s official. Director Zack Snyder is putting his best foot forward with DC and Warner Bros. for a Justice League film that will follow the long awaited release of the Man Of Steel 2/Batman vs. Superman movie which is still awaiting an official title. The news just broke late in the weekend following previous reports of the second film’s push back from its initial July 17, 2015 date so that Snyder and the other filmmaker could fully realize their vision. Well, I spent the past few weeks not writing much of anything about the new Batman vs. Superman movie due to all the rumormongering about actor Ben Affleck (something about a leg injury or whatever), followed by reports of its initial release date pushed back to 2016. Cliffhanger, Die Hard 2 and 12 Rounds director Renny Harlin is lining up post-production on his next hopeful blockbuster, Hercules 3D, starring Kellan Lutz, and also starring Liam McIntyre and Scott Adkins. With all hopes in place for a sequel, Empire got the most recent scoop from the director on what the next hopeful installment would entail. “Our story is the young Hercules, so I would say that the sequel will probably dive into the Labours.” Harlin says. “As you know, in the mythology Hercules ended up killing his wife and children, and as atonement he got the 12 Labours.
