Cowboy. Ninja. Viking., The Magnificent Seven, Guardians Of The Galaxy 2…times are great for actor Chris Pratt. He’ll soon be running with a pack of raptors in this June’s Jurassic World which will undoubtedly add to the fanfare surrounding earlier suspicions and hopes he would otherwise take the mantle as Indiana Jones…but we’ll save that talk for another time, maybe. Word from THR indicates Pratt is up to star in The Real McCoy, newly acquired by Universal Pictures following a bidding war with Warner Bros. in the last two days. The film will be produced by originator Tom McNulty and producer Michael De Luca with a script by The Judge scribe Bill Dubuque which sets Pratt as the lead in the American 1930’s Prohibition Era, inspired by the real-life story of bootlegger Bill McCoy who smuggled clean, uncut rum from the Bahamas into the states without help from the mob. Director Antoine Fuqua‘s western thriller revival, The Magnificent Seven, is still in the casting phase with just five actors enlisted, so there’s still a ways to go before we hear anything about who gets to apprear. In the meantime, MGM is planting its flag for the film’s release on January 13, 2017, according to reports forwarded by ComingSoon.net. Actress Haley Bennett, and actors Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke are all tapped to star in the film alongside leading man Denzel Washington in his latest return to the set with Fuqua in what will be their fourth pairing since the 1999 film, Training Day and last year’s box office reign of the hit action thriller TV adaptation, The Equalizer. Sony Announces Development For A GHOSTBUSTERS Movieverse For Channing Tatum And Chris Pratt To Star

It took a bit of evolving in the course of a few hours, but the word is that actor Chris Pratt is possibly on deck to join Channing Tatum in their own all-male Ghostbusters film for Tatum to produce for Captain America: The Winter Soldier helmers Anthony and Joe Russo on board to direct with a script by Iron Man 3-scribe Drew Pearce. That film is being reported as one of four universal films conjoined by Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters movie which is releasing in July of next year as both will tie in to a third followed by a fourth in the form a prequel. Well, the new international trailer for director James Gunn‘s new film, Guardians Of The Galaxy certainly is a seller, getting past all the tongue-in-cheek humor from earlier on. Lego fans can get their hands on three new construction sets attributed to Marvel’s upcoming release of Guardians Of The Galaxy which will hit store shelves beginning June 1, exactly two months before the forthcoming film hits theaters nationwide. And on that note, accompanying lead actor Chris Pratt‘s late Tuesday night interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live is this week’s new trailer with all our characters front-and-center.
