TADFF 2014: Death Comes Last In The New Trailer For WOLVES!
David Hayter will be opening his latest action horror pic, Wolves at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival as one of the first ten movies listed in this week’s announcement. The film marks Hayter‘s directorial debut, with a script centered on X-Men franchise co-star, actor Lucas Till in a sexy, brutal tale of a young man caught at the center of an age-old werewolf feud.

To many of us, David Hayter will always be the titular hero in the Steve Wang-directed 1994 sequel cult hit, Guyver 2: Dark Hero. However since then, he’s moved on to greener pastures in his field starring in numerous projects serving as actor, voice actor, producer, filmmaker and award-winning screenwriter to name a few. And this year, we are closer to witnessing his directorial debut in the form of the new action horror slasher thriller, Wolves, with X-Men: Days Of Future Past co-star Lucas Till opposite Bullet To The Head co-star Jason Momoa.
The film has since been acquired for North American distribution courtesy of Ketchup Entertainment and is primed for a summer release with an official date pending. Merritt Patterson and John Pyper-Ferguson also star, with creature effects by Oscar winners Dave and Lou Elsey.

SYNOPSIS:
Cayden Richards, 18, has it all: Captain of the high school football team; straight-A student; gorgeous girlfriend. But when he wakes one dark night to find his parents brutally murdered, he is horrified to realize that he is turning into an animal: a wild, savage wolf.
Panicked, Cayden runs, determined to find out what is happening to him. His quest leads him to the strange, isolated town of Lupine Ridge, where two clans of wolves are on the brink of war.
The opposing clans are lead by Connor, the powerful, pure-blood alpha of a savage pack and John Tollerman, an old farmer, committed to protecting the human citizens of Lupine Ridge. But when Cayden falls for Angelina, the beautiful, young mate promised to Connor, a battle to the death is inevitable.
And as the past begins to reveal itself, Cayden’s place in the world becomes clearer – as does his power to put an end to the savage violence building up around and within him…
