THE GRANDMASTER OF KUNG FU Comes Home From Well Go USA In January
Well Go USA’s rollout of mainland kung fu thriller productions continues with the forthcoming January 31, 2023 Digital, Blu-Ray and DVD release of The Grandmaster Of Kung Fu, director Cheng Si Yu’s take on martial arts hero, Huo Yuan Jia. Near the end of the Qing Dynasty, a renowned Chinese martial artist engages in a life-or-death battle with a feared Japanese military commander in order to prevent Japan’s ultimate goal of seizing martial arts stronghold Tianjin. Dennis To, a former World Wushu Champion and best known for his performances in The Legend Is Born: Ip Man, and Kung Fu League, stars in the along with Gao Xuemei, Yang Yongfeng, Li Ruoxi and Zhuang Han. The film is currently available over at Well Go USA’s martial arts streamer, Hi-YAH!.

Director Li Liming’s Ip Man: Kung Fu Master will make its way to the UK on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital beginning April 19. KUNG FU LEAGUE: Heroes Headline The First Trailer For Jeff Lau’s Raucous Kung Fu Flick
Notable Kung Fu Hustle producer Jeff Lau has since entered the fray with his next directorial feat, Kung Fu League. The project has been teases a headlining crowd of folkloric film heroes and now we have a first trailer this week. I gotta say, it’s wackier than I predicted and looks equally ridiculous, save for any hopes of this film being more film than fan service. I suppose it’s mainly because there isn’t a full synopsis available which is why this trailer is so daunting apart from what we already know.
