In a forwarded article from Screen Daily, Digital Spy reports that director Gareth Evans will be on board his next film, THE NIGHT COMES FOR US after BERANDAL (a.k.a. THE RAID: REDEMPTION) wraps filming this month. The articles state that Evans, most known for push-kicking action fans into a new era of martial arts cinema with Indonesian action vehicles, MERANTAU and the recent success of THE RAID: REDEMPTION, will serve as action director for the U.K.-based production. In the film, Joe Taslim will star as a mob enforcer who struggles to seek atonement after inadvertantly causing a massacre. We are about twenty days away from catching director Justin Lin’s last gig at the helm before next year, of the upcoming vehicular warfare action rollercoaster of the summer, Fast And Furious 6 on May 24, 2013. With Universal Pictures spending millions of dollars on advertising everywhere they can, the film is promising solid action, with fast cars, thrills, spills and more danger that takes the story to a whole new level. In addition to the news regarding the involvement of Wesley Snipes and Mel Gibson in The Expendables 3, new reports also indicate Indonesian action star Joe Taslim is also up for a role in the upcoming blockbuster action thriller.
