Following a reveal of stills for the new upcoming disaster thriller, On Fire, the official trailer is now online from Cineverse ahead of its theatrical release on September 29. Uncork’d Entertainment will release Robert Conway’s new western, Eminence Hill, in select theaters on November 1 before opening on DVD and VOD November 5. The film features Lance Henriksen, Barry Corbin and Dominique Swain, and centers on a notorious and vengeful outlaw and his gang who, after leaving trail of l bodies in their wake, find themselves in a town run by deeply pious and fanatical homesteaders. It’s been quite a journey for director William Kaufman’s latest heralded cult hit, Daylight’s End. Carried by the support of amply positive reviews following the film’s well-earned festival acclaim, Vertical Entertainment has since announced its North American distribution in select theaters on August 26 in association with Dallas-based virtual reality studio Groove Jones for a more immersive viewing experience. Obviousy, that would be something to look forward to and it’s a perfect horror movie feat to present to fans as we approach the Fall season. Right now, any cursory glance over at the official Facebook fan page for the stellar new independent survival action horror, Daylight’s End, will hint you quite a bit about how well this movie has fared in the past year. I seldom get to watch an Oshii Mamoru film these days, so to be able to finally screen Garm Wars: The Last Druid is indeed a treat. As far as critiquing is concerned though, it was a little less enthusing than expected while still presenting quite a few gems along the way right down to its epic finish. Oshii and scribe Geoffrey Gunn wrote the script which centers on a cloned supersoldier named Khara, played by Melanie St. Pierre. The film ventures into a spectacular journey of self-discovery beginning in a tumultuous time when the world of Annwn, forged by an ancient deity with the creation of eight different tribes known as the Garm, is plunged into war, descending the tribal populace to three – each battling for dominance.
