I went into Machete Kills pretty much expecting the usual cheesy, over-the-top action as seen in the 2010 flick. Turns out, I got exactly that and a whole lot more! Women Dominate The Battlefield In The New Featurette For MACHETE KILLS

The latest featurette is online this week for Friday’s upcoming release of Machete Kills. It’s pretty much a highlight of some of the outstanding females in the newest sequel from director Robert Rodriguez with actor Danny Trejo in the lead role, is forced to take on an arms dealer with a nuke aimed at Washington, paired with a small army of femme fatales lining up to kill Machete and anyone aligned with him. The film comes on the heels of Tuesday’s release of Trejo‘s newest direct-to-DVD action horror effort, Zombie Hunter from Well Go USA. So, it’s a pretty good week to be a Danny Trejo fan, I’d say. IGN posted the new trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming October 11, 2013 release of Machete Kills. By far, it’s the sickest, most relentless trailer available for the film, promising loads of action, spectacle, wit, and gritty grindhouse gore to cater to fans of the iconic character that first popped up in trailer-only footage several years ago. Updates on official casting for The Expendables 3 have been a real headline generator, with actor and Sylvester Stallone heading off casting announcements via his twitter. Some of the most recent news about the film included the surprise announcement that actor Harrison Ford was now a part of the official cast, while Bruce Willis had been dropped altogether following his failed request for a $4 million dollar payday for a four-day shoot. Other announcements have already confirmed that Stallone’s Assassins co-star Antonio Banderas will be appearing in the cast, in addition to Machete Kills co-star Mel Gibson who will play the villain.
