Danny Trejo Faces Knives, Machine Gun Bras And A Billionaire With A Rocket In The New Trailer For MACHETE KILLS
We have a new trailer out for Machete Kills today, with actor Danny Trejo reprising the role of the titular badass former federale and blade-wielding Mexican outlaw.
No arguments here against the wonderous cheese and gritty grindhouse spectacle showcased in the latest follow-up from filmmaker and recent television entrepreneur Robert Rodriguez, whose signature style of action continues to gain endless momentum among adamant fans who remain faithful to a character Rodriguez has since likened to that of “James Bond”. And of course, no reservations here either with the exciting over-the-top action and violence you can well expect from the film’s first opening act, according to a recent interview with Trejo from The Action Elite. “You know what?” he says. “Machete 2 makes Machete look like a nursery rhyme. I don’t want to give too much away but me and Jessica Alba kill about 25 people in the first 3 minutes of the movie. That’s the intro.”
The film is currently set to premiere later this year at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas on September 19, 2013, followed by a nationwide theatrical release on October 11, 2013.
