So what do you get when you cross a mobile phone company with modern-day cult filmmaker? Well, it sorta spells out like a monster movie-one with two sexy leather-clad femme fatales masquerading as ice cream twins using their service van as a front to investigate the numerous mysterious disappearances of people in the neighborhood, including that of their father…

All that, plus a giant cyclops with tentacles, big toy guns and more, and some sweet, explody surpises await in this ten-minute quirky, grindhouse-style shortfilm, Two Scoops, as part of an interactive production process by hosted by Blackberry called Project Green Screen with Troublemaker Studios, director Robert Rodriguez, and YOU, the fans. Two Scoops is already available online as of May, which sucks because I hated not being told about this sooner, lol!

It stars twin actresses Electra and Elise Avellán who will also be starring in Machete Kills later this year. The short film also stars Rogue Rodriguez and Jesse James.

Two Scoops’ is a cinematic adventure, created by Robert Rodriguez with the help of his fans. In the film, you will find a scene featuring ‘the agent,’ a secret weapon, and the monster. Each of these elements was either created or inspired by a fan of Robert Rodriguez. Throughout the film, you will also find missing person posters. Each of these ‘missing people’ are fans of Robert Rodriguez, who submitted their photos in order to appear in the film.
