Netflix is streaming the official trailer for season three of the hit series, Cobra Kai, ahead of its January 3 premiere. If you’re all caught up, then you’re already roped in for what looks to be a solid new chapter in the saga ahead of its pending fourth season. If not, all seasons are on Netflix right now as of earlier this year.
Director Joe Begos had a hit on his hands this year with the release his illustrious and vampiric horror noir, Bliss. He’s since been on the trail and keeping busy with one other peculiar looking thriller in V.F.W., which casts a hard-edged roster of actors including Stephen Lang (Don’t Breathe), Martin Kove (YouTube’s Cobra Kai), Fred Williamson (From Dusk Til Dawn) and William Sadler (Die Hard 2: Die Harder) among others for its line-up.
Brothers Joey (Jesse Kove) and Steve Calderon (Pete Passaro) are part of a martial arts dynasty with a school run by their father, Mike (Martin Kove). While both were raised tough in the wake of their mother’s death, one brother chose to walk a path different from the other.
Sometime last year I was made aware of actor and filmmaker Joe Gawalis’ third feature, Bare Knuckle Brawler. That film has since taken to a few exclusive festival screenings which explains the quotes on artwork, and now bares an official trailer to make its case to the public.
Season two of hit YouTube Premium series, Cobra Kai, is only just over a few weeks away with a date set for April 24. The SVOD platform rolled out a brand new sneak peek on Monday featuring series star William Zabka, and actor Martin Kove whose role reprisal of Karate Kid antagonist, Sensei Kreese, was teased in the first season.
