Season two of hit YouTube Premium series, Cobra Kai, is only just over a few weeks away with a date set for April 24. The SVOD platform rolled out a brand new sneak peek on Monday featuring series star William Zabka, and actor Martin Kove whose role reprisal of Karate Kid antagonist, Sensei Kreese, was teased in the first season.
Zabka headlines the sequel series opposite Karate Kid trilogy star Ralph Macchio in a story set three-and-a-half decades after the 1984 feature that started it all; Following up from Johnny’s perspective, the crux of the series takes off with an underdog tale exploring the renewed rivalry between him and Daniel LaRusso as Johnny redeems himself by reopening the Cobra Kai dojo.
Also starring are Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan and Courtney Henggeler.
